Our CSR Commitment
At ETAP-LAB, our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) approach is based on the values that shape our identity – ETAP for Excellence, Transparency, Agility and Proximity – and translates into concrete actions supporting more responsible research. We place ethics, quality and animal welfare at the heart of our practices, rigorously applying European guidelines and the 3Rs rule, while developing innovative approaches to reduction and refinement.
ISO 9001 certified and committed to continuous improvement, we guarantee reliable, traceable services that comply with the most demanding industry standards. Mindful of our scientific and societal impact, we invest in responsible R&D projects and work closely with academic partners to develop more ethological and translational models.
This responsible vision guides each of our decisions, enabling us to support our clients while contributing to a more sustainable, humane and transparent science.

An agile, customer-centric approach
At ETAP-LAB, every project is unique. That’s why we take a customer-centric approach, working closely with our clients to understand their specific needs and offer tailored or customised solutions. Our goal: to ensure the success of your preclinical research projects, while meeting deadlines, regulatory requirements and your scientific ambitions.
“100% of our clients surveyed in 2024 say they are satisfied with their collaboration with ETAP-LAB, with an average rating of 9.3/10.”
A comprehensive quality requirement
Our quality management system, developed over more than 10 years, is ISO 9001: 2015 certified for our Nancy and Caen sites until 2027. This certification attests to our commitment to providing reliable, traceable services that comply with international standards and the requirements of the pharmaceutical industry.

Responsible and transparent ethics throughout our projects
Aware of the ethical issues surrounding animal testing, we adopt a responsible and transparent approach, in full compliance with European guidelines and the 3Rs rule.
For 35 years, we have been implementing “good ethological practices” aimed at taking animal welfare into account to improve the relevance of preclinical trials. These good practices applied to behavioural studies have been extended to all our therapeutic areas and across all our sites.
Our daily practices therefore go beyond the usual standards of refinement.
