SYNCROSOME

Dedicated lab for Cardiovascular diseases

SYNCROSOME is ETAP-Lab’s dedicated laboratory for cardiovascular research. Since its integration in 2023, it has reinforced our capabilities with specialized platforms in surgery and in vivo imaging, enhancing our ability to deliver high-quality, translational preclinical studies.
Our cardiovascular expertise covers a wide range of in vivo models addressing both right and left heart pathologies. These include models of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), ischemia-reperfusion injury (IRI), as well as heart failure with preserved (HFpEF) and reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF). Each model is designed to reflect clinically relevant conditions and support the development of innovative therapeutic strategies.

Our models

Left Heart Disease Models

Heart Failure with preserved Ejection Fraction | HFpEF

Dahl SS rats (Hypertention & Fibrosis)

BTBR ob/ob mice (Obesity & Diabetes)

Heart Failure with reduced Ejection Fraction | HFrEF

Induced with Isoproterenol

Induced with Permanent ligation of Left Anterior Descending coronary artery (LAD)

Induced with Transient ligation of LAD

Acute Ischemia Reperfusion Injury model

Right Heart Disease Models

Pulmonary arterial hypertension | PAH

induced by Sugen/Hypoxia
induced by Monocrotaline
