Poster session – spotlight on our ischemic skin wound model
Don’t miss our scientific poster (#518), presented by Jean-François Bisson, highlighting the results of a client study on ischemic skin wounds, conducted in collaboration with École Polytechnique, Laboratoire de Physique des Plasmas and Plasana Médical.
This study contributed to the preclinical development of the Plasana One® technology, an innovative device now entering clinical trials, designed to efficiently treat chronic wounds such as venous leg ulcers and diabetic foot ulcers.
Poster title: “Pro-healing effects of Plasana One®, an argon-generated cold plasma on ischemic skin wounds”
Poster available for download after the conference.

About Plasana Médical:
Plasana Médical was created by Yves Matton, from the startup studio Technofounders, and Professor Antoine Rousseau, Research Director at the Plasma Physics Laboratory (LPP) at École Polytechnique.
The company was founded in 2022, after more than 10 years of research on plasma medicine at LPP and following initial successful preclinical trials demonstrating the beneficial effects of cold plasma on wound healing.
This new type of treatment accelerates healing time and limits infections thanks to the antiseptic effect of cold plasma. Plasana Médical’s mission is to bring this technology to market to improve patients’ quality of life, facilitate the work of healthcare professionals, and reduce healthcare costs.
