September will be marked by two major events for dermatology research and regenerative medicine. The SKINAXIS team will be attending ETRS 2026 in Rouen, France (September 2-4) and ESDR 2026 in Heidelberg, Germany (September 9-12), two leading European scientific congresses dedicated to wound healing, tissue repair, and skin diseases.
On these occasions, we will present two scientific posters developed in collaboration with our partners and clients, highlighting results generated through preclinical studies conducted by our teams using our dermatology models and expertise.
Two Major Conferences Advancing Dermatological Research
Held annually, the European Tissue Repair Society (ETRS) meeting brings together researchers, clinicians, and industry professionals to discuss the latest advances in wound healing, tissue repair, and regenerative medicine.
For SKINAXIS, this first participation at ETRS represents an important opportunity to showcase our expertise in wound healing and skin graft models and to contribute to scientific discussions on innovative approaches to tissue regeneration.
A few days later, we will join the international dermatology research community at the annual meeting of the European Society for Dermatological Research (ESDR), widely recognized as one of Europe’s leading scientific events dedicated to skin diseases, cutaneous immunology, and the development of novel therapeutic approaches.
Highlighting Data Generated to Support Our Clients’ Research Programs
Beyond our participation in these events, these two posters provide concrete examples of SKINAXIS’ contribution to our clients’ research and development programs.
Jean-François Bisson, Director of Studies, Dermatology Research Services at SKINAXIS, will attend both conferences to present our work and meet with existing and future partners.
At ETRS: We will present results generated through a collaboration with I-STEM, focusing on the evaluation of innovative approaches for skin substitute grafting.
ETRS Poster Title: Regenerative and Immunocompatible hESC-Derived Skin Substitute for Sickle Cell Leg Ulcers.
Poster Number: #ETRS-2026-0013
At ESDR: A second poster, developed in collaboration with Bacoba, will showcase data generated within a research program dedicated to inflammatory skin diseases (Psoriasis and Atopic Dermatisis).
These studies demonstrate the ability of our preclinical models to generate robust, translational data that support the development of future dermatology treatments.
ESDR Poster Title: Lefleuganan for treatment of chronic inflammatory skin conditions.
Meet Us at the Congresses
Attending ETRS or ESDR?
We would be delighted to discuss your research projects, preclinical evaluation needs, and the most relevant models for your dermatology development programs.
Jean-François Bisson, Director of Studies, Dermatology Research Services at SKINAXIS, will be present throughout both events and during the poster sessions.
“These two congresses provide an excellent opportunity to share recent data and exchange with fellow scientists working on the challenges of inflammatory skin diseases, wound healing, and regenerative medicine. I am looking forward to meeting peers, partners, and innovators from across the dermatology research community.”
